The Practice That Exists Because the System Failed Too Many People

Jessica's story

Jessica Moyer didn't set out to build just another psychiatric practice. She set out to build the one she wished existed.

After years of working in mental health care, she kept seeing the same thing happen over and over. People who were genuinely struggling, people who had finally worked up the courage to ask for help, were being turned away. Not because there wasn't a diagnosis. Not because there wasn't a treatment option. But because their provider wasn't compassionate. Wasn't patient. Didn't make them feel like their experience was real or valid or worth taking seriously.

That kept happening. And Jessica decided she wasn't going to be part of a system that continued to let people fall through the cracks.

Veta Psychiatric Care exists because of that decision.

Her Approach to Care

Jessica is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, which means she's trained to assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions, including prescribing and managing medications. But her approach goes well beyond the clinical.

She believes that real psychiatric care is collaborative. It's a conversation, not a one-way street. When you work with Jessica, you're not a chart. You're a person, and everything about your care reflects that.

What that looks like in practice:

  • She listens before she prescribes
  • She explains what she's thinking and why
  • She adjusts based on what's actually working for you, not what's supposed to work on paper
  • She doesn't rush you through appointments
  • She treats you with the same respect she'd want for herself or someone she loves

Telehealth makes this even more accessible. You don't have to drive across town, sit in a waiting room, or rearrange your entire day to get the support you need. You just need somewhere comfortable and private, and Jessica handles the rest.

Why Veta

What Makes Veta Different

Compassion Is Non-Negotiable

You'll never feel judged for what you're going through or how long it's taken to ask for help.

Individualized, Not Templated

Your treatment plan is built around you, not a protocol pulled from a drawer.

Virtually Accessible

Life is complicated enough. Telehealth means one less barrier between you and the care you deserve.
